Frequently asked questions

Enterprise licensing, AI deployment, and sovereign self-hosting.

What is Firmgate Enterprise?

Firmgate Enterprise is a commercial licence for a self-hosted intranet and operations platform. It unlocks AI modules, CRM, Resource Pool, Casual Calculator, timesheets, Security Clearance, Security Officer, LDAP, SAML SSO, Microsoft 365, encryption at rest, and related integrations — deployed on infrastructure you control.

Can Enterprise AI use self-hosted GPUs and local LLMs?

Yes. Configure each AI module for self-hosted GPUs and local LLM endpoints on your LAN or private cloud, or connect OpenAI and compatible APIs where your security policy allows.

Is Firmgate Enterprise suitable for security clearance teams?

Yes. Security Clearance with clearance audits, self-hosted security awareness training, encryption at rest, Security Officer workflows, and PDF report export are Enterprise entitlements — designed for Australian defence industry and DISP compliance teams that must keep personnel and training data on-network.

Does Enterprise include LDAP and SAML?

Yes. LDAP / Active Directory and SAML single sign-on are Enterprise entitlements, configured under Administration → Integrations.

How do I get an Enterprise licence?

Contact our sales team at sales@firmgate.io. We'll discuss your requirements, recommend the right licence tier, and arrange your commercial licence key and deployment support.

Are AI API costs included in the Enterprise licence?

No. The Enterprise licence includes AI software modules only — not inference costs. If you connect cloud providers such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini, you pay those providers directly; heavy use of AI Document Search or AI Tender Assistant can cost hundreds or thousands per month in tokens. If you run Ollama, Qwen3, Llama 3, or DeepSeek on your own GPUs, per-query cost to SolStak is effectively zero.

What support and SLA does Enterprise include?

Enterprise support is provided by SolStak with severity-based targets. Sev 1 (critical): response within 4 hours with daily updates until service restoration. Sev 2 (major): response within 24 hours with daily updates until service restoration. Sev 3 (moderate): service or function restoration within 48 hours. Sev 4 (minor): best effort response during business hours; fix targeted for the next scheduled maintenance release. Log incidents at support@firmgate.io.
